Prime-Time Deal With CBS

Mixed martial arts will be broadcast on one of the major television networks for the first time. CBS announced a deal with ProElite, which produces mixed martial arts events, to broadcast in prime time two-hour live specials four times a year on Saturday nights. Douglas DeLuca, the chief executive of ProElite, called it a “pivotal moment for the sport.”.
